Dutch Walnut Commode of bombé shape

This gorgeous 18th century Dutch Walnut Chest was very much in need of restoration, as it was missing some of its veneer after having been exposed extensively to water.

Only a total disassembly, the structural consolidation of each of its individual pieces, as well as an entire cleaning and drying process for over four weeks have saved this wonderfully bombé-shaped Chest.
